First perfomance and trip to Middletown

Today come full exactly two months when I came to Virginia.
Tänään tulee täyteen tasan kaksi kuukautta, kun saavuin tänne Virginiaan.

Last Friday I had first performance with dance team in football game during halftime. I was so nervous a whole day and also at night but everything went pretty good. I did make any mistakes and also there wasn´t be a lot of people watch the football game. Also my local coordinator came watch when I have performance. I was very suprised. If I would tell to you something about our dance team. We have 8 girls there 4 girls are juniors, 3 are sophomores and one girl is freshman. I´m so happy that I joined to dance team because I have got my current best friend from there. Also I have got many new friends.

Viime lauantaina meillä oli eka esiintyminen tanssiryhmän kanssa meiän koulun futis pelin puoliajalla. Jännitin esitystä kokopäivä, siis kirjaimellisesti kokopäivän, mutta lopulta kaikki meni hyvin en tehnyt yhtään virhettä. Meiän onneksimme siellä ei ollut paljon ihmisiä katsomassa peliä, joten saimme "harjoitella" esiintymistä ensiksi pienemmälle yleisölle. Aluevalvojani yllätti minut tulemalla katsomaan, kun esiinnyn, Jospa kertoisin jotakin tanssiryhmästämme. Meitä tanssii tällä hetkellä kahdeksan tyttöä 4 on junioreita, kuten minä, 3 sophomorea ja yksi freshman. Olen todella iloinen, että liityin koulumme tanssiryhmään, koska sieltä olen saanut nykyisen parhaan kaverini täällä sekä myös saanut paljon uusia ystäviä.

On Saturday I had trip with other CIEE´s exchange students to Middletown where was some kind of Civil War "celebration". The trip was fun and it was nice to see other exchange students and talk with they. Only bad thing was very windy weather.

Lauantaina meillä oli retki muiden vaihtareiden kanssa Middletowniin missä oli jonkun näköinen sisällisota juhla. Joo, tosiaan nää juhlii täällä sisällissotaa, mutta ei kuitenkaa muita sotia. Outoa, mutta mikäs siinä. Retki ja päivä olivat todella hauskoja ja oli tosi kiva nähdä muita vaihtareita ja jutella miten heillä on mennyt nyt tämän ensimmäiset kuukaudet.
